What can I expect when I have my driveway sealcoated?
What you can expect depends on the condition of your driveway at the time you decide to sealcoat. Your driveway may have cracks that require us to use a polymer filler to smooth out the surface of your driveway and help prevent moisture from seeping in and causing further deterioration and to help prevent vegetation from growing through. If your driveway has oil stains, we will need to pretreat them to help prevent the stains from seeping through the new sealcoat. In order to ensure edge-to-edge coverage of the sealcoat, your lawn around your driveway may need to be trimmed. Prior to sealcoating, the entire surface of your driveway will be cleared of all dirt, grass and debris using our industrial grade blower that produces a force in excess of 200 mph. After the driveway is fully prepared, the sealcoat will be applied with a commercial grade spray unit and application brushes will be used as needed. The final result will be a beautiful deep, dark, black matte finish that will extend the life of your asphalt driveway
